Botox® and Neuromodulators

Botox®, is a neuromodulator and one of the biggest names in the cosmetic injections game. The goal of using a product like Botox® is to relax the muscles in a specific area so it can smooth fine lines and wrinkles.

How does Kybella® work?

When you choose Kybella® for double chin, we’ll make several small injections throughout the area you want to treat. Once injected, Kybella® targets the unwanted fat cells near the injection site and destroys them. Once they are destroyed, your body will naturally eliminate them. It can take several sessions to arrive at your final result, but when you do, the results should be permanent* and you should not need to consider surgery to eliminate double chin.

Cosmetic Injections

Will I see results on the day of my treatment?

Most neuromodulators and dermal fillers take time to activate. With some brands, you’ll see results in days, while others may take a bit longer. We’ll discuss this during your consultation.

The longevity of your injections will depend on a number of factors including the product we use and how quickly your body metabolizes it.

If you went to another injector and aren’t happy we always suggest you talk with them and see if they can help first. If you aren’t comfortable doing that, we’re happy to take a look and recommend your best course of action.

Kybella®

*Is Kybella® permanent?
In most cases, yes, results from Kybella® should be permanent. Once the fat cells are destroyed, they can’t store or accumulate more fat. That said, if your weight increases submental fullness could return.

The number of treatments you’ll need will depend on how much submental fullness we need to eliminate. We can give you a better estimate during your consultation but most client require a series of treatments to achieve their desired results.

You should not get Kybella® if you have an infection of any kind in or around the treatment area. You should also wait to have this treatment if you’re planning to have surgery, or another cosmetic procedure done on your face, neck or chin.

Kybella® is considered a cosmetic treatment, meaning most insurances do not cover it unless you have cosmetic coverage. Either way, Fitzy Shades does not accept insurance but we do offer Cherry Credit to help with financing.
